The NSL27 Profile features an aluminum channel with a selection of insert materials for both the tread and riser, allowing for the creation of a stronger contrasting solid band of color. This design is tailored to comply with the guidance outlined in Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010, making it suitable for use in environments where no surface floor coverings are utilized or where resilient flooring is present.

When choosing the insert color(s), it's important to consider the respective Light Reflective Value (LRV) of both the surrounding floor covering and the stair nosing itself. The difference between these values should be greater than a factor of 30 to ensure adequate contrast and visibility.

The NSL27 Profile is supplied as standard in a Mill finish, but alternative options such as anodized and powder-coated finishes are available upon request. This versatility in finish options allows for further customization to suit specific aesthetic preferences and project requirements.
