Problems This Twin Grip Profile Helps Solve
Visible Gaps Between Flooring Panels
Connections between flooring sections can leave an untidy visible gap. The profile helps cover the joint and create a cleaner finish.
Flooring Panels Needing a Defined Connection
The twin grip design provides a dedicated connection point between compatible boards or panels, rather than leaving the joint unsupported or unfinished.
Untidy Expansion-Gap Areas
Where the flooring system allows the profile to be used over a suitable expansion gap, it helps conceal the opening while maintaining a more finished appearance.
Exposed Flooring Edges
Open flooring edges can make an installation look incomplete. The aluminium profile helps create a defined and durable transition between adjoining sections.
Finishing New or Renovated Floors
The 1m profile can be used in new flooring projects or when replacing an existing connection trim that has become worn or damaged.
Benefits of This Aluminium Twin Grip Profile
Twin Grip Connection
The profile is designed to provide a secure connection between compatible flooring panels and boards.
Neater Floor Joints
It covers the visible meeting point between flooring sections for a more professional-looking finish.
Durable Anodised Aluminium
The aluminium construction provides a hard-wearing and corrosion-resistant surface for interior flooring applications.
Compact 8mm Profile
The slim profile is suited to compatible laminate, wood and panel flooring installations where a narrow connection trim is required.
Easy to Cut to Size
The 1m length can be shortened with a suitable hacksaw for smaller installation areas.

Installation Guide
-
Measure the flooring connection and required profile length.
-
Cut the aluminium profile to size using a suitable hacksaw.
-
Make sure the adjoining flooring panels are correctly positioned and the installation area is clean and level.
-
Test-fit the profile between or over the compatible flooring sections.
-
Secure it using a suitable adhesive or another fixing method appropriate for the flooring and substrate.
-
Check that the profile sits evenly and that the flooring connection remains properly aligned.
For installations involving an expansion gap, make sure the chosen fitting arrangement does not prevent any movement required by the flooring system.
Before Ordering
Check that the 8mm profile size is compatible with your flooring installation.
Measure the required length and confirm that the supplied 1m / 39.37in profile provides enough material.
If the trim will be used around an expansion gap, check the flooring manufacturer’s required movement allowance before fixing the profile.
What Does the Customer Get from This Product?
The customer gets a dedicated aluminium connection profile rather than a basic decorative cover strip.
The twin grip design helps form a more defined connection between compatible laminate, wood or panel flooring while also improving the appearance of the joint.
It is particularly useful where the customer wants to combine joint coverage, flooring connection and a durable aluminium finish in one slim profile.
Why Choose This Twin Grip Connection Profile?
This profile is a practical option for customers who need a narrow and durable connection between compatible flooring panels.
Its twin grip design, 8mm profile and anodised aluminium construction make it suitable for detailed flooring work where both connection and appearance matter.
