Problems This Skirting Board Helps Solve
Untidy Wall-to-Floor Edges
Flooring can leave the perimeter of a room looking unfinished. The 80mm skirting creates a defined, continuous finish between the wall and floor.
Lower Wall Scuffs and Knocks
The bottom section of walls is often exposed to shoes, vacuum cleaners, furniture contact and everyday cleaning. The skirting helps provide a protective finishing layer in this area.
Too Many Joints in Shorter Profiles
The 2.2m length allows longer wall sections to be covered with fewer joins, helping create a cleaner overall appearance.
Moisture Around Everyday Interior Areas
The moisture-resistant polystyrene construction makes the profile practical for suitable interior areas where occasional cleaning moisture or splashes may occur.
Difficult Interior Colour Matching
With several colour options available, customers can choose a profile that blends with flooring and walls or creates a deliberate contrast.
Benefits of This 80mm Polystyrene Skirting Board
Lightweight Construction
Polystyrene makes the profile easier to handle, position and cut during installation.
Moisture Resistance
The material is designed to resist everyday moisture, making it useful for suitable interior rooms where easy maintenance is important.
Practical Wall Protection
The 80mm height helps protect the lower wall area from routine contact and light impacts.
Long 2.2m Profile
Longer lengths can reduce the number of visible joins across straight wall runs.
Multiple Decorative Finishes
The broad range of colours gives more freedom when matching modern, traditional, wood-effect or neutral interior schemes.

Installation Guide
-
Measure each wall run carefully and mark the required cutting points.
-
Cut the profile using a suitable fine-tooth saw.
-
Use a mitre box or suitable cutting method where accurate corner joints are required.
-
Make sure the wall surface is clean, dry and free from dust.
-
Apply a suitable skirting adhesive in consistent beads along the back of the profile.
-
Press the skirting firmly against the wall, align it correctly and remove excess adhesive before it cures.
Allow the adhesive to set according to its manufacturer’s instructions.
Before Ordering
Check that the 80mm height and 14mm depth suit your room and flooring arrangement.
Each profile is 2.2m long, so measure the total wall perimeter before calculating how many lengths are required. Allow additional material for corners, cutting and wastage where necessary.
This profile is designed for adhesive installation, so make sure the chosen adhesive is compatible with both polystyrene and the wall surface.
What Does the Customer Get from This Product?
The customer gets a lightweight, moisture-resistant finishing profile that improves both the appearance and practicality of the wall-to-floor junction.
Rather than leaving the bottom of the wall exposed, the 80mm profile creates a defined edge while helping protect against everyday scuffs and contact.
The 2.2m length also means fewer joints may be required, while the wide choice of finishes makes it easier to coordinate the skirting with different flooring and interior styles.
Why Choose This Polystyrene Skirting Board?
This profile is a practical option for customers who want a modern skirting finish that is lightweight, easy to install and resistant to everyday moisture and wear.
Its 80x14mm profile, long 2.2m length and multiple colour choices make it suitable for both renovation work and new interior installations.
